About the author

JinZwicky_Final_01_aJin Kang Moller (formerly Zwicky) is a design strategist and practitioner empowering organizations to simplify and innovate through the human-centered design.  

She has spent over fifteen years in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries, and her design methodologies have helped organisations create value for their businesses.

She is currently a VP in Group Customer Experience at OCBC Bank, a leading Singaporean bank. She drives business success of the private banking, retail banking, wealth  management and insurance businesses through fostering customer-centric design process and organisational culture. She is the driver behind the award-winning Millennials bank concept FRANK by OCBC since its inception. One of her recent work One Wealth app, a wealth managemnet services designed to build confidence in making investment decisions, won her Gold Good Design Mark 2017.

She is the founder and the faculty of OCBC Great Design Masterclass, the Human-Centered Design Certification Program that sets the organization-wide methodology tacking the top-innovation agenda and fosters agility and creativity needed in today’s fast changing environment.

Before joining OCBC Bank in 2010, she was with Credit Suisse Private Bank in Switzerland setting customer experience strategy in key markets and designed experiences across critical channels and key processes of private banking customers. During the global financial crisis in 2008, she lead a cross-divisional simplicity initiative and set a new standard of customer-centric product communications.

She is currently Affiliate Faculty at at SMU Academy, the professional training arm of Singapore Management University, teaches Advancing Innovation Through Human-Centered Design, and Design Leadership and Design Thinking Facilitation which she designed. As a highly acclaimed executive trainer, she has guest-lectured executive programs on innovation and design thinking at INSEAD, National University of Singapore and Hyper Island.

Her programmes have been among the most sought-after courses in SMU Academy (with an average rating 4.92 out of 5.0) since their inception in 2018. She has successfully trained and coached over 1,000 executives internally and externally across industries including the financial services, insurance, government agencies, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and technology sectors in Asia, Europe, Middle East and Australia.

She is a top-rated keynote speaker in banking and customer experience conferences globally including TEDx. She is a publisher of Designful.Co, a design publication written for leaders in the financial services.

Jin studied Change Management at INSEAD, holds an MBA from The Open University in UK. She majored in Visual Communications and Product Design and received a BA Art and Engineering from Handong University in South Korea where she grew up.
